Welcome to Cabbage Town
You've Been Here As Long As You Can Remember
I know more or less nothing. Ain't that something, huh? Well I never. I don't know web design, I don't really know what I'm doing here. I have a vague idea of what I want to do. Mostly just dropping bits of writing, be it actual 'literature' I vomit out or random thoughts or feelings I have. I'm no guru but I think I can at least get the very rudimentary fundamentals of getting text on a page, right? I'm not sure if the true way to go about it is dumping text in an HTML as I am now or if there's a way I can paste it in and have the CSS set just so to avoid tedium. Though right now this doesn't feel all that tedious to me. My chud friend has a whole news site he runs with his pal so they've got this thing figured out, and for a time I wanted to do something similar. But nah, I think I'm fine like this. I'll learn as I go I guess. Sorry there's none of the cool quirky old web formatting you see on other sites. Not really.
Considering this a jumping off point, I suppose? If you somehow got past the weird pseudo-tutorial first page that's barely reworked and tinkered with.
I stole that from W3schools btw. If that counts as stealing? Most of what I've learned is from them so like. Does that count as stealing? I am processing the information lowkenuinely and tinkering with it to my own ends (such as messing with the glow effect, and working it slightly to apply to text neatly) so maybe I'm not a super-fraud, just a standard fraud, who knows? Anyways, with what I said earlier, this is the real start to the website, so I think I'm gonna just have buttons linking y'all to other pages here, rather than spicing this up super fancy like.
